For a little more than a month, and until mid-March, Pierre-Lou participated in duck catches on the domain of Grandes Cabanes du Vaccarès, Camargue, a site belonging to the Conservatoire du Littoral and managed by ONCFS. These operations are similar to the duck catches in the Baie de l'Aiguillon. For several months, 7 days a week, the traps are inspected every morning at sunrise. Michel Lepley, contractual ringer for the ONCFS, leads most of these missions on the site with experience, determination and passion.
