Here I am, back from 12 days hiking in the Käsivärsi wilderness. When I arrived in the area, winter hadn't said its last word. Large, thick patches of snow still covered the tundra, and the surface of vast lakes was still frozen... Even worse, the snow continued to fall for four days...
